Introduction

English Grammar में हर tense के sentences Affirmative (Positive) या Negative
हो सकते हैं।

  • Affirmative Sentence
    = Positive statement (किसी बात की पुष्टि)
  • Negative Sentence
    = Negative statement (किसी बात को नकारना)

इसमें हम 12 Tenses के affirmative sentences को negative sentences में बदलना सीखेंगे — आसान rules और examples के साथ।

Present Tense

Present Simple Tense

Rule: Subject + do/does + not + base verb

  • I/We/You/They
    → do not (don’t)
  • He/She/It
    → does not (doesn’t)

Examples:

  • He plays cricket. → He does not play cricket.
  • They go to school. → They do not go to school.

Present Continuous Tense

Rule: Subject + is/are/am + not + verb+ing
Examples:

  • She is reading. → She is not reading.
  • We are watching TV. → We are not watching TV.

Present Perfect Tense

Rule: Subject + has/have + not + past participle

Examples:

  • I have finished my work. → I have not finished my work.
  • He has gone to market. → He has not gone to market.

Present Perfect Continuous Tense

Rule: Subject + has/have + not + been + verb+ing

Examples:

  • She has been studying for two hours. → She has not been studying for
    two hours.
  • They have been playing since morning. → They have not been playing since morning.

Past Tense

Simple Past Tense

Rule: Subject + did not + base verb

Examples:

  • He went to school. → He did not go to school.
  • They played football. → They did not play football.

Past Continuous Tense

Rule: Subject + was/were + not + verb+ing

Examples:

  • She was singing. → She was not singing.
  • We were studying. → We were not studying.

Past Perfect Tense

Rule: Subject + had + not + past participle

Examples:

  • He had completed the project. → He had not completed the project.
  • They had left early. → They had not left early.

Past Perfect Continuous Tense

Rule: Subject + had + not + been + verb+ing

Examples:

  • She had been working for 5 hours. → She had not been working for 5 hours.
  • We had been waiting since morning. → We had not been waiting since morning.

Future Tense

Simple Future Tense

Rule: Subject + will/shall + not + base verb

Examples:

  • He will help you. → He will not help you.
  • We shall go to Delhi. → We shall not go to Delhi.

Future Continuous Tense

Rule: Subject + will/shall + not + be + verb+ing

Examples:

  • She will be cooking. → She will not be cooking.
  • They will be traveling tomorrow. → They will not be traveling tomorrow.

Future Perfect Tense

Rule: Subject + will/shall + not + have + past participle

Examples:

  • He will have finished the work. → He will not have finished the work.
  • We shall have left by 5 PM. → We shall not have left by 5 PM.

Future Perfect Continuous Tense

Rule: Subject + will/shall + not + have been + verb+ing

Examples:

  • She will have been teaching for 10 years. → She will not have been teaching for 10 years.
  • They will have been working since morning. → They will not have been working since morning.
