Parts of Speech क्या होता है?
Parts of Speech वो श्रेणियाँ (Categories) हैं जिनमें हम English के सभी शब्दों को बाँटते हैं — उनके काम (Function) के आधार पर।
कुल 8 प्रकार के Parts of Speech होते हैं।

Example:
1. Noun: Ahmad is a student.
2. Pronoun: He is a student.
3. Verb: Ahmad plays.
4. Adjective + Noun object: Rahul plays big drums.
5. Adverb: Mohan sings loudly.
6. Prepositional Phrase: Rahul plays in the park.
7. Conjunction + नया clause: Rahul and Mohan are friends.
8. Interjection शुरुआत में जोड़ो: Wow! Rahul played well.
Part of speech यह बताता है कि कोई शब्द वाक्य में कैसे काम करता है – मतलब में भी और grammar के हिसाब से भी। एक ही शब्द अलग–अलग situations में अलग–अलग part of speech की तरह इस्तेमाल हो सकता है। Part of speech को समझना जरूरी है ताकि जब हम dictionary में किसी शब्द का meaning देखें, तो उसका सही मतलब समझ सकें।
